TEFAF Maastricht 2020

For TEFAF Maastricht 2020, Stoppenbach & Delestre  presented a booth that reflects its expertise and attachment to 19th and 20th century French Art. Alongside three paintings by Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot, and various works by Charles François Daubigny, the gallery dedicated a space on its stand for an exceptional curated selection of highlights  from the recent gallery exhibition André Derain from Fauvism to Classicism, including an early Fauve composition of Collioure harbour, a watercolour, and a remarkable work from his Cezanniste period, along with later works  including still-lives and portraits. Further reflecting on Modern art movements, Stoppenbach & Delestre had on display three artworks by Armand Guillaumin that illustrate his versatility as an artist, through his interest in different subject matters.
